Today, I managed to go out in the country for a two hour drive, since it was a beautiful sunny day with great cloud formations. Under these weather conditions, I always grab for usual infrared gear (Leica M8, Voigtlander Skopar 12mm f/4, B+W 092 filter).
By swapping the red with blue channel, you get a false color IR photo. I also added a Color Balance effect (basically it converts Daylight to Tungsten), and the yellow foliage gain more saturation and contrast, resulting in a more vivid image than normal false color.
Converting an IR image to black and white, is a classic choice, which fits almost any subject (and of course landscapes). In this cases I needed to make some vertical distortion correction needed when you shoot a wide angle from a low point.
Enjoy the rest of the images.
